- קָצוֹעַm., pl. (קָצַע) קָצוֹעוֹת those who cut down trees for war purposes, sappers. Y.Ned.III, 38a ראה ק׳ המלךוכ׳ (not קצי׳) if he saw the kings sappers come (to raze plantations).
